The University of Bridgeport’s Fones School of Dental Hygiene made their annual visit to Honey Bear offering free dental screenings for children. With the permission of families, their team of Dental Assistants and trainees did visual inspections of the children’s teeth and provided families with a written report of their findings. Then they practiced proper brushing techniques and did an activity to demonstrate which foods are good and bad for healthy teeth. All children were given a goody bag to take home with dental care items.
